Being a young coffee grower means give future to the coffee and avoid that the coffee industry disappear in my county and in my municipality.

COLOMBIA IS A WELL REPUTED COUNTRY WHEN IT COMES TO COFFEE. STILL, WITH AN AVERAGE AGE OF 57 AMONGST COFFEE FARMERS, COLOMBIA SHARE THE CHALLENGE TO GET THE NEXT GENERATION TO SEE A POSITIVE FUTURE WITHIN COFFEE.

Our activities are located to the Antioquia region in the north western part of Colombia. They involve farmers between the ages of 15 and 30, who live in the rural areas and are interested in running coffee growing businesses but would have to leave or remain under uncertain conditions without support.

Focus is on developing social, entrepreneurial and agricultural skills, as well as sustainable coffee farming with optimal use of resources, increased quality and productivity.

In Colombia we work together with the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation (FNC).
